Lisa Fabian, MSW, RSW, BASc.,

Clinical Director

Lisa is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience in youth mental health, trauma-informed care including assessment and intervention, and community-based program development. She currently serves as the Clinical Director at Northstar where she provides clinical supervision, leading our ISSP, CST, and EYOW programs, and supports the development and evaluation of innovative, equity-centered programs for youth and families.  Lisa also provides clinical oversight to the CDTP therapeutic programming. 

Lisa brings a compassionate, evidence-based, and anti-oppressive approach to all aspects of her work. Her career has spanned frontline clinical practice (including her time as an ISSP Specialist here at Northstar), program development, advocacy, and organizational leadership. Throughout her roles she has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable youth impacted by complex trauma, mental health challenges, and systemic barriers.

An advocate for responsive and transformative systems, Lisa has contributed to organizational Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression initiatives and community partnerships aimed at addressing service gaps and enhancing support for marginalized populations.
