Erin is a fourth-year student in Political Science and Legal Studies at Ontario Tech University. During her placement at Northstar, she will be conducting research to examine how youth justice is defined and understood across different settings and perspectives, with a particular focus on exploring the age parameters of youth justice involvement for individuals aged 12 to 17.

Erin’s academic interests centre on human rights, legal frameworks, and social justice. She aspires to pursue a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Global Politics, with the long-term goal of engaging in humanitarian, advocacy, and policy-focused work.
