Pratima is a third-year Child and Youth Care Practitioner student at Centennial College with a growing interest in youth justice, advocacy, and systemic change. During her placement at Northstar, she will be conducting research focused on how youth experience the different systems and supports involved in their lives.

Her future goals include completing a Bachelor of Social Work and later pursuing a combined Juris Doctor and Master of Social Work degree. Pratima hopes to build on her Child and Youth Care background to work at the intersection of social work, law, youth advocacy, and policy, with a focus on improving how systems respond to young people.
